Tue. Jan 6th 2009 My wife and I really enjoyed being able to spend some time with the fine men of Station 1 Shift B over the holidays. It is refreshing to see the younger folks of today so dedicated to serving their fellow man. The spirit of commeraderie was most evident. We look forward to meeting with you all again. Thu. Dec 11th 2008 Heard about Engine 1 having an argument with a driver and vehicle who chose not to move over and let it pass. Wed. Sep 17th 2008 Jarrod sent me pics of the truck fire with magnesium. It is hard to put out. When I trained for each deployment on an aircraft carrier we had to put out a magnesium flare. Tough.
