Jarrod called me this morning and told me the engine was hit head on by a dui. Hope all firefigjhters came out ok. We keep a soft spot in our hearts for all firefighters, but especially you guys at Bryant. Stay in touch.

Thank you for all you do. Special thanks for the special things you did for Kirsten Cook this week. She was so tickled and I am sure she will never forget riding to school in a firetruck. Kirsten was proud of this being her first time winning anything especially first place.She felt like such a winner!!!

I heard form Jarrod yeaterday that there is a photo contest undrway and that one from Bryant FR has won locally and is on its way to the state competition. Congratulations. you have a quality organization there and are worthy of any and all accollades you can garner. Way to go.

jarrod has been gone from Bryant for about 2 1/2 weeks. We all miss you and the brotherhood/fellowship of the group. Please stay in touch. When we pass through the area we will stop by and say hello. My wife and I really enjoyed being able to spend some time with the fine men of Station 1 Shift B over the holidays. It is refreshing to see the younger folks of today so dedicated to serving their fellow man. The spirit of commeraderie was most evident. We look forward to meeting with you all again. Heard about Engine 1 having an argument with a driver and vehicle who chose not to move over and let it pass. Didn't they know the laws of gross tonnage always prevail?Sorry E-1 is out of service. Glad all FF's are ok. The S.O.B. from the other vehicle ought to be arrested.

Jarrod sent me pics of the truck fire with magnesium. It is hard to put out. When I trained for each deployment on an aircraft carrier we had to put out a magnesium flare. Tough. Glad to see he is learning the ropes. One Question, where is elmo? Ask "Moose" to tell you about the armadillo I had in Guam.Be safe and God bless.
