Early this evening, Engine 13 with Chief 80 assisted Collegeville Volunteer Department on a structure fire in the Stone Hills Estate Sub-Division.  911 calls began coming in saying that heavy smoke was seen from a roof of a large home, after a severe thunderstorm.  Chief 90 and Engine 13 arrived on scene together with a large amount of smoke coming from the over 6000 square feet house.  A hydrant was in front of the house and E-13 driver quickly established a water supply, while a crew entered the residence.  Additional crews from Bryant arrived and entered with a back up line, while command requested Truck 32 to respond for assistance.  Interior crews found a fire in the attic and quickly extinguished the fire and command canceled the Truck.  All crews on scene worked together to remove material that was destroyed without causing much damage to the inside of the residence.  Good job Collegeville Guys!  Thanks for helping!
