Just before 8am, Truck 32 was alerted to the interstate for a 18-wheeler that lost its load of pipe. Truck 32 arrived to find multiple vehicles with the east bound lanes of the Interstate completely closed due to pipe and 1 lane west bound closed.  The Truck Captain quickly determined the additional resources were need and requested 2 additional engines,  a total of 3 ambulances and MED-FLIGHT.  Truck 32 crew began extrication of a driver in a vehicles on top of the pipe with severe injuries while Engine 13 made its way thru the traffic and began to triage patients.  E-11 responded the wrong way on the interstate to the scene and checked on the vehicle with the fatality.  Crews worked to remove several patients that were injured and assisted state and local police for several hours until the Reconstruction portion of the incident was completed by State Police.
